Introduction

Why choose the St. George Hotel?

Despite being a large hotel we still have the personal feel of a small family run establishment at the St. George Hotel. With a 4 out of 5 rating on tripadvisor we pride ourselves on offering top class service for our customers whether you've popped in for a drink with a friend, are running a business conference, getting married or looking for a base to stay whilst visiting the Garden of England.

Our locally sourced food and diverse menu has local customers visiting regularly to eat here. And with a mixed and varied entertainment programme you may be fortunate to witness comedians, singers or even Santa!

Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, on your own or as part of a large family group, you can be sure of a warm welcome and exceptional service at the St George Hotel.

Our History

Part of the family for 50 years

Built in 1967 by George Stanley, the St George Hotel has been welcoming guests for nearly 50 years. Run today by George's Grandson, Roland Stanley, it’s been in the family for three generations.

Originally two houses, the hotel has been much extended, making it one of the largest hotels in central Medway. Though the building has changed over the years, our ethos hasn’t – we’re committed to making each and every one of our guests feel right at home.
